This is part of an ongoing research effort to assess the effect of natural lichen growth on rock art in Central Arizona's Coconino Forest. Various remote sites with similar models will serve as a baseline for comparison against existing archival records and future photo acquisitions. This model features a small section of a Sinagua petroglyph created approximately 800 years ago. 1-542 P1 East Facing This project aims to document "at risk" rock art at our Heritage Sites due to natural or vandalism-related threats.
