FS1694 Kendrick Mt, Cabin Exterior #1
sketchfab
Kendrick Mountain Lookout Cabin, nestled in Kaibab Forest, was constructed in 1911 to facilitate use of the fire lookout tower situated higher up on the mountain. A historic cabin saved from destruction during the 2000 "Pumpkin Fire" by Forest Service firefighters who expertly wrapped it in fire-resistant material and cleared surrounding fire zones. Kaibab Forest Service staff, along with volunteers, meticulously restored the cabin. A detailed link documenting the collaborative efforts of all partners involved can be found at https://www.facebook.com/KendrickCabin/. The metal roof's apparent holes are an artifact resulting from the modeling process; they will be skillfully "filled" in future edited versions, showcasing a complete and intact actual roof.
