sketchfab
Human: A model has been created of a Sinagua petroglyph element on Panel 4 at V bar V Heritage Site south of Sedona, Arizona in the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest. The photographs used for this model were taken using an electronic flash to highlight the details of the indirect percussion method employed by the Sinagua pre-historic culture around 1100-1200 AD. This model is part of a larger project aiming to document "at risk" rock art at our Heritage Sites due to natural or vandalism related issues. Additional information about the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest can be found on these websites: http://www.sedonaredrocktrails.org/, http://www.fs.usda.gov/recmain/coconino/recreation Information about volunteer opportunities in the Coconino Forest, including the creation of 3D models and other projects, is available at http://www.friendsoftheforestsedona.org/
