Model created of Sinagua petroglyph element on Panel 10 at V bar V Heritage Site, located south of Sedona, Arizona, within the Red Rock District of Coconino Forest. Photographs for this model were taken using an electronic flash to emphasize detail of the indirect percussion method utilized by the Sinagua pre-historic culture around 1100-1200 AD. This model is part of a larger project aimed at documenting "at risk" rock art found at our Heritage Sites due to natural or vandalism-related issues. More information about the Red Rock District of Coconino Forest can be accessed through websites such as sedonaredrocktrails.org and fs.usda.gov/recmain/coconino/recreation.
