FS1598 Pendley Ranch, Old Pumphouse, Vandalism
sketchfab
This model is part of a groundbreaking project to safeguard "at risk" features at Heritage Sites in the Coconino Forest, threatened by natural deterioration or malicious vandalism. This shot captures the north interior side of the door area on the east-facing front of a pumphouse located at Pendley Ranch within Slide Rock State Park, just north of Sedona, Arizona. Unfortunately, it has been severely marred by modern-day vandalism and graffiti, which periodically need to be removed by dedicated Forest Service volunteers. This image reveals historic and modern graffiti scratched into the original wood frame of the door on the north interior side. The concrete and plaster section visible here is a portion of the north wall with etched graffiti that has damaged the original feature. Additional views of the vandalism in the door area can be seen in FS1599.
