FS1590 Van Deren Cabin, South Room
sketchfab
This model is a crucial part of an ongoing initiative to document features at risk within Heritage Sites in the Coconino Forest due to natural or vandalism-related issues. The interior of the south room at the Van Deren historic Cabin in the Coconino Forest near Sedona, Arizona, reveals significant deterioration with much of the original wood being in poor condition and some interstitial wood and fill material now missing. The initial view showcases the west wall, while the east wall is intentionally excluded from this model. Constructed during the earliest 20th century, major repairs were undertaken by the Forest Service and Friends of the Forest Volunteers in the late 1990s.
