FS1583 Van Deren Cabin, South Room, Fireplace
sketchfab
This model is part of an ongoing project to document "at risk" features at Heritage Sites in the Coconino Forest due to natural or vandalism related issues. The west side exterior of the south room at the Van Deren historic Cabin in the Coconino Forest near Sedona, Arizona, reveals much of its original wood in poor condition with abundant modern scratched graffiti and insect damage. This is a view from outside of the fireplace area. The cabin dates back to the earliest 20th century. Major repairs were carried out by the Forest Service and Friends of the Forest Volunteers in the late 1990s. More information about the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest can be found at the following web sites: www.sedonaredrocktrails.org, www.fs.usda.gov/recmain/coconino/recreation. Volunteer opportunities in the Coconino Forest, including the creation of 3D models and other projects, are listed at www.friendsoftheforestsedona.org.
