2019-01 Boulder 06 This model is part of an ongoing project to document features at risk due to natural or vandalism related issues at Heritage Sites in the Coconino Forest. The basalt boulder is located at a remote site in the Coconino Forest near Sedona, Arizona. It features a petroglyph created by Sinagua pre-historic Native American Indians between 1000 and 1300 AD. Additional information about the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest can be found at sedonaredrocktrails.org or fs.usda.gov. Volunteer opportunities in the Coconino Forest, including 3D model creation and other projects, are available at friendsoftheforestsedona.org.
