2019-01 Boulder 02 This model contributes to an ongoing endeavor to document "at risk" features at Heritage Sites in the Coconino Forest due to natural or vandalism-related issues. This is a basalt boulder located at a remote site in the Coconino Forest near Sedona, Arizona. The petroglyph is interpreted as having been created by the Sinagua pre-historic Native American Indians. It is believed to have been created between 1000 AD and 1300 AD.
