FS1555 Crescent Moon, Fitz Wheel, Site 3
sketchfab
This model is part of an ongoing project to document high-priority features at Heritage Sites in the Coconino Forest due to natural threats or vandalism-related issues. This is a roof section on the south wall of the Fitz Water Wheel at the Crescent Moon Recreation Area near Sedona, Arizona, built in the 1930s. Despite being completely exposed to the elements, this structure remains in relatively good condition compared to other structures at the site. Localized areas of wood and stonework degradation are highlighted in more detailed models. This roof section requires minimal repairs. Additional information about the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest can be found on websites such as sedonaredrocktrails.org and fs.usda.gov/recmain/coconino/recreation. Information about volunteer opportunities in the Coconino Forest, including 3D model creation and other projects, is available at friendsoftheforestsedona.org.
