This model is part of an ongoing project to document features that are at risk due to natural or vandalism-related issues at Heritage Sites in the Coconino Forest. This image shows a close-up view of the central section of the west wall of the Blacksmith's cabin located at the Crescent Moon Recreation site near Sedona, Arizona. The cabin was built between 1936 and 1937. Although it is fully exposed to the elements, this structure remains in relatively good condition compared to other buildings at the site. However, there are localized areas where the wood has deteriorated.
