FS1467 Palatki Grotto Panel 4
sketchfab
This is the central area of a rock art panel 4 in the Grotto Alcove of the Palatki Heritage Site, located in the Coconino Forest northwest of Sedona, Arizona. The central left anthropomorphic figure is believed to represent a Sinagua depiction of what's commonly known as a "Hopi Maiden," indicating that this hairstyle tradition dates back at least 1100-1200 AD. A pictograph symbol is situated 4-5 feet above and to the left of the highlighted pictograph in 3D model FS1466, which is also believed to be Sinagua in age. Note the somewhat similar pictograph further down on the right, which may be a variation of the butterfly hair bun style.
