417 P11 These are Sinagua petroglyphs located at a remote site deep within the Red Rock District of Arizona's Coconino Forest near Sedona. This rock face is highly weathered and stands on the brink of being lost forever. Anthropomorphs, zoomorphs, and possible faded geometrics dominate its worn surface. Models are being created as part of an ongoing project to document at-risk sites in the Coconino Forest through photography. Further information about Arizona's Red Rock District within the Coconino Forest can be found on the following websites: http://www.sedonaredrocktrails.org http://www.fs.usda.gov/recmain/coconino/recreation Volunteer opportunities in the Coconino Forest, including the creation of 3D models and other projects, can be discovered at http://www.friendsoftheforestsedona.org
