This is a view of the lower southern outer wall of the Mormon Lake Guard Station Cabin, situated south of Flagstaff, Arizona. Built starting in 1908, it served as the first ranger station in the Coconino Forest. This section of the cabin has been damaged by drainage water rotting out a significant portion of the base of the wall. This visual model was created in October 2018 to assist Forest Service personnel with maintenance, restoration, and management of this historic site. Additional information about the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest can be found at www.sedonaredrocktrails.org and www.fs.usda.gov/recmain/coconino/recreation. Information about volunteer opportunities in the Coconino Forest, including the creation of 3D models and other projects, is available at www.friendsoftheforestsedona.org.
