The same photographs used for 3D model FS1214 were processed using Dstretch software with the YDS algorithm. This rock art panel is located in the Grotto Alcove of the Palatki Heritage Site, situated northwest of Sedona, Arizona. Additional series of models of the same panel utilize the same photographs that have been processed with Dstretch color decorrelation software to enhance color differences, making it possible to evaluate pictographs that have faded over time. Comparisons of the photos reveal superposition and substantial fading of some pictograph elements. The 3D evaluation shows variations on different rock face orientations.
