This fruit plate is a close relative of my Fruit Bowl "Sphere," as it shares the same design principle of interlocking pieces. Beyond the bowl, I utilized Fusion360 to create the basic body by employing the 'form' tool. Following 123-Make Autodesk's release of the 'Slicer' as an AddOn to Fusion360, I was able to work independently with this tool since it does not integrate with Fusion in any way. You cannot even update a model using the same parameters. Similarly, I used Illustrator to nest the parts more effectively than the 'Slicer' could manage. My build took place on a desktop CNC machine by Stepcraft, utilizing 9 mm birch plywood and a spiral-toothed 1.5 mm flute. The components were assembled using glue and finished with oil for a smooth appearance. Please note that this STL file is intended for viewing purposes only, as I have not attempted to print it. However, the 'Slicer' source file has been uploaded, allowing you to export individual parts for printing. Visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/ for more intriguing designs.
