Fruit Picker, strengthened

I created this fruit picker because earlier designs lacked sufficient tooth strength. To overcome this, I introduced rough drill holes along the center of each tooth, allowing them to be enlarged using drill bits and reinforced with screws as needed. The teeth are rounded to prevent excessive damage to the fruit. The concept relies on sewing a net onto the bottom of the picker using string, then attaching it to a broom handle for safe collection of small fruits like cherries from the ground. I drew inspiration from another design, specifically a thread used on a broom handle found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:84774 Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Makerfarm i3v 10 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.35mm Infill: 30% Post-Printing I fortified the teeth by carefully and slowly enlarging their holes using drill bits that matched the size of my 1-5/8" drywall screws. It turned out I used a #30 bit almost all the way down to the bottom of the jaw, then switched to a #26 bit for each tooth until it reached the bottom.
