Fruit Fly Trap - M3

Fruit Fly Trap - M3

I tried out several different fruit fly traps, but this one worked out best for me. One issue is that the peg broke off in the hole, so I had to tape it together. Needless to say, it wasn't as secure as I would have liked. To use bait with these traps, most of them work with a piece of fruit or apple cider vinegar. I've also noticed that my old red bull cans seem to draw them in, and I've had surprising success using red bull. Not typical bait, but who knows! Hardware needed: 4 - M3 x 12-20mm bolts The top allows for standard hex top M3 bolts or countersunk M3 bolts. The total depth on the top is 10mm, less 2-3mm for the bolt head. There's another 15mm available below on the base, which I tapered by 0.25% to help grab the bolt. I uploaded the wrong top initially. The new top uses considerably less filament.
