Many fly trap designs seem complicated to incorporate reused bottles, which come in varying sizes, necessitating adjustments to fit each model perfectly. Tedious, indeed. Bottle-based traps are also prone to tipping over, resulting in a messy and smelly situation. I believe this design outperforms them all. YELLOW. Print the lid in yellow; I've used clear for the jar instead. Research suggests that different colors attract fruit flies differently. A study on methyl eugenol traps in guava and mango orchards found that certain colors are more effective at drawing in these pests.
