A Solution for Capturing Fruit Flies in Common Baby Jars. Use a Jar with a Diameter of 50 mm and a Height of Approximately 9 mm, Such as Those from HIPP, to Create a Homemade Trap. Fill the Jar with About One Finger's Height of Vinegar and Water (a 1:1 Mix) and Add a Single Droplet of Dish Soap to Ensure the Flies Drown When They Land on the Surface.
