Get rid of those pesky fruit flies (Drosophila). You may not win the war completely, but you can significantly reduce their numbers. First, grab a suitable glass or cup so you can see inside. Next, measure the rim diameter and scale your print to fit your glass. If it's a bit too big, you can easily fix it by binding tape around the glass rim. Now, drill 1-1.5 mm holes into the inner cones. Make lots of holes so that the flies can catch a whiff of the lemon. Check out the pictures - I've got about six holes per cone and it worked like a charm. You should also drill a hole at the tip of the cones if your print is too tiny. Too big, they'll find a way out; too small, they'll stay outside. Take a squeezed lemon and put it in the glass. Close it with the trap and watch as the flies come pouring in. Make sure to empty the glass before the lemon turns mildewy or rotten. It's a good idea to open the trap outside your living quarters. You can use lemon or another fruit that the flies love. I've tried lemon concentrate juice, but they just ignored it...
