Fruit Fly Trap

I've become fixated on crafting the ultimate fruit fly trap. My workplace has been overrun by these sly insects. I've conceptualized and printed multiple traps, and this one appears to hold promise. It screws onto a standard bottled water or juice container, featuring a grid that enables the lure's pungent aroma - a blend of vinegar and a few drops of dish soap - to entice the fruit flies. They'll land on top out of curiosity before eventually making their way down into the lethal trap. This is an ongoing project. Update: Several flies have entered the trap but can't escape, leading me to believe my lure formula requires some adjustments.
