fruit fly trap with a 12v pc fan blowing fruit flies into the container when they try to land on the lure that is hanging in the holder, effectively capturing them.\nYou can distinctly hear the sound of fruit flies being crushed by the rotating blades of the pc fan ... it's both satisfying and impressive to watch as these unwanted insects are sucked into the container without resistance.\nIt operates just fine without the bait holder since I use a potent combination of apple cider vinegar, plus a few drops each of detergent and cooking oil, all known to attract fruit flies irresistibly\n \n \n Building Instructions\nattach a M4 x 30 bolt with its nut securely tightening pc_fan_duct + PC fan + pc_fan_exhaust by threading a binding wire through the holes or use both for additional support. Make sure everything is properly secured.\ It's also possible to tie the pc fan down with a long thin wire to ensure it stays in place.\nFor an air circulation adjustment, I added four crossing holes on the pc_fan_exhaust, so you can thread a wire through them.\ The effect this achieves is keeping the pc fan out of flush alignment with the container.\nThis makes the computer fan's air push towards the sides rather than getting trapped and escaping upward. In contrast,\nbait should be added to fill up part of the bottom in the container using apple cider vinegar, a few drops each of detergent and a little cooking oil as its attracting ingredients. You can optionally add more bait in the lure holder for a greater fruit fly capture potential\nA pc fan setting can dim as demonstrated.\
