To extract textures from a .skp file, SketchUp (free), Cinema 4D (trial version sufficient), 3ds Max, or Rhinoceros 3D (trial version sufficient) can be used. For SketchUp, export as a 2D graphic. In C4D, importing the .skp file automatically generates a folder with textures. In 3ds Max, textures are stored in ..3dsMaxsceneassetsimages. In Rhino, open the material editor, select a material with a texture, click the texture name, and choose the three-dot button to see all textures in ..AppDataLocalTempembedded_files. Feel free to copy and paste the textures to any desired folder.
