I'm giving Autodesk's 123D Make its first try, and I must say it's really easy to use once you have a 3D-model created in 123D Design - also offered by Autodesk at no cost. The program itself has a nesting function, but I found that doing it manually still yields the best results. My build was done on a Stepcraft desktop CNC-machine using 6 mm birch plywood and a 1.2 mm flute with a spiral-toothed edge.
