FrSky XM and XM Plus Receiver Cases
thingiverse
Cases are designed specifically for the FrSky XM and XM Plus receivers to provide extra protection beyond what comes with the factory-installed clear shrink-wrap. This case has a simple two-piece design that allows easy access to the BIND button and connections. I'm using an XM receiver along with my RX2SIM to enable wireless simulation and practice sessions with my Horus. Files have been updated to support 90-degree header connectors. Since I don't own an XM Plus, I haven't verified how well it fits on a real receiver. However, based on feedback, I've made one final edit to the XM Plus case, which I now feel is complete. Print Settings: Printer: Original Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: N/A Notes: To see the status LEDs inside, print this case in a transparent or translucent material like clear PETG+. The side walls are 0.9mm thick, assuming an extrusion width of 0.45mm (using a 0.4mm nozzle). For best results, print it flat on the bed, not as it comes out of Fusion 360. Supports for the connector window are optional. Post-Printing: It will take just a couple of spots of CA adhesive to attach the lid to the body. Also, the antenna end of the lid may need some sanding to fit the body flush since the height of the end wall is determined by the printer's layer resolution and accuracy.
