FrSky X8R mount for S500 quadcopter frame
thingiverse
I had to secure my FrSky X8R receiver onto the S500 quadcopter frame. To do this, I opted not to attach the antennas directly to the arms, fearing interference from the ESCs might compromise the signal range. Instead, I decided to mount them on the bottom plate and angle them outward. One antenna rested flat, while the other was positioned at a 90-degree angle, mirroring my existing Y-mount setup. To access the + pad and get a glimpse of the X8R's LED light, I needed to navigate around it.
