UPDATE 18-11-25 - New Design Unveiled. Smoother Transition Achieved. Hi there! I've experimented with caps designed by AndreR and I'm not impressed with the "copper foil design". It's definitely not durable and quite tricky to execute correctly. I've developed a system that requires only copper wire or thin copper sheet if you want to get fancy. FINISHING PROCEDURE (TEXT FOR PHOTOS): After both sides are printed (I uploaded only the Left side, the other can be mirrored in repetierHost or another software), you need to prepare four "P-Shape" copper wires that fit into the mechanism of the cap (check out the photo). Make sure this P-shape is no higher than 0.8mm so it maintains contact with the pads on the xlite side. Then insert the P-Shapes and secure them well. Next, prepare the part with a battery spring and insert it in the side lines and bottom of the cap. Solder the p-shapes and battery spring part, and you're almost done. To enhance connection with radio pads, add a bit of solder to the touching part of p-shapes and smooth it out with some rosin. Finally, pour some glue around the P-shape Line and you're good to go! Good luck with your construction project! If someone creates a video tutorial, I'll link it here.
