I've Constructed a Custom Mobile Phone Holder for My FRSky TARANIS To integrate telemetry with my hexacopter and mobile phone, I designed a specialized holder for my FRSky TARANIS. This innovative solution enables seamless data transfer between the two devices. For my Samsung Galaxy S4, I attached a commercial case to the 3D printed piece using double-sided adhesive tape. The arms and rear plate of the holder were obtained from Thingiverse's item #349502. A customized knob, sourced from Thingiverse's item #714498, serves as a securing mechanism. To attach the holder firmly to the TARANIS, I employed an M5 threaded rod accompanied by three M5 security nuts and one standard M5 nut positioned within the knob. To enhance the aesthetic appeal, I wrapped the center section of the threaded rod with a grey thermoretractable tube, creating a sleek and polished finish.
