I built a custom phone holder for my FRSky TARANIS to pair it up with my hexacopter and mobile phone's telemetry feature. For my Galaxy S4, I slapped on a commercial case using double-sided adhesive strips onto the 3D printed piece. The arms and back of the unit come from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:349502 - I just assembled them according to design specs. I sourced the adjustment knob from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:714498, which screws on nice and snug. To secure everything to the Taranis frame, I utilized an M5 threaded rod accompanied by three security nuts and one standard nut nested inside the knurled end. For a clean aesthetic touch, I wrapped grey thermoretractable tubing around the exposed portion of the rod for a streamlined finish.
