FRSky Taranis Plus Battery Cover and Aux

Inspired by totof1965's (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:252542) battery box design on Thingiverse, I decided to create one for my Taranis Plus myself. The main challenge was that the bottom lip of their design wasn't tall enough to clear the Nano-Tech 2.1 LIFE battery I'm using, which measures 100mm x 30mm x 30mm. To overcome this issue, I designed a custom cover from scratch. This file is my initial flat cover model. Thinking ahead to how I would mount the small LIPO battery that powers my FPV DVR 7" screen next caught my attention. For context, my battery of choice is the Turnigy 2.2 9XR, which has built-in over/under discharge protection – a useful feature since the DVR doesn't display battery levels. My challenge then was figuring out how to securely mount this tiny battery. This is where my second file comes in: a mounting solution designed specifically for the Turnigy 2.2 9XR LIPO battery, which measures 102mm x 33mm x 20mm and has an external extension that perfectly complements the case design. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Printing Instructions The models were printed using my hacked XYZ Davinci 1 printer and sliced in Slic3r. My settings include a perimeter of four, a print thickness of .2 mm, use of 4mm hexagonal supports, and a density setting of twenty percent. I highly recommend printing as shown in the images provided; this ensures that the locking tabs get printed cleanly without any issues.
