FrSky RXSR - Mount & Antennae Protector
thingiverse
Update: 11/03/2020 Added v3. Small adjustments made to mounting hole positions, adding a cutout for the bolt head to prevent pinching the Rx. A third bolt / Zip-tie hole was added for stability and versatility. Zip-tie securing holes were moved, and an extra pair was added. The size of the connector cut-out was increased for easier plugging in and disconnecting. Update: 06/03/2020 v2 of the mount was added, eliminating the need for zip-ties on antennae arms as well as frame mounting. M3 mounting holes were added, slightly elongated to fit a wider range of frames and minimize error margins. Only one zip-tie is needed to secure the receiver into the mount. Protective mount designed for the FrSky R-XSR and its 2 antennae. A better solution was needed than just zip-tying the antennae to arms or using heat shrink. One small zip-tie secures the RX into the mount, while two zip-ties mount it to the frame. Three small zipties per arm secure the antennae into the channel in the arms for added safety. Can be mounted at the bottom of your stack in front of rear arms or preferably out the back end where there's more space. It is suggested that you plug the RX in before zip-tying it down, as it would be difficult to do after the fact. Printed and tested on a TBS Source One V3 Frame. Mounting holes line up almost perfectly with the frame in the rear. Printed in TPU for flexibility; won't break your props while protecting your antennae from getting shredded, and should hold up in any nasty crashes. ***Will be posting v2 with frame mounting holes changed to nuts & bolts and a possible updated arm design to negate the need for zip-ties at all.
