FrSky Horus X12S mount for neck strap
thingiverse
I am thrilled with this transmitter and the community that supports it behind Open TX. However, I have to admit that I'm not a fan of handheld transmitters, and the original belt connected to the switch cover didn't work for me either. So, I decided to create something better, which has been working flawlessly for over half a year. To get the perfect sun shades, you need to print them just like they appear in the file. Then, place one of them upside down as a mirror image. I used a 3 mm metric thread on both parts and added a 2 cm piece of threaded rod to achieve the best possible result. The three aluminum tubes that make up this design have an impressive diameter of 8 mm and are 92.4 mm long each. To complete the build, I added two metal O-rings for extra protection and stability. This construction provides a much safer way to position the transmitter, while also allowing for easy transport with a hand grip, sun shade, and screen protection. In my opinion, the next great add-on would be racks for your hands on the sides or an external battery tray!
