FrSky Antenna Clamp (for X-series Rx PCB diversity antennas)
thingiverse
Yet another FrSky two-part dual antenna mount emerges with innovative design. Multiple similar designs exist, but none meet the desired orientation and sourcing needs, so it's coded from scratch in OpenSCAD. Receiving Rx RSSI telemetry on my Tx, values rise significantly with this mount on my X-quad. The previous mounting setup was too horizontal, with no way to keep PCBs' relative position orthogonal. A worthwhile upgrade follows with optimized dimensions tested and fine-tuned for precise holding of X8R antennas with one clamp screw only (10mm M3 socket head and nut required). You're likely to need a different mounting geometry; fortunately, the OpenSCAD generator allows you to revise or remove my simple side-mounting tab as you see fit. Alter the clamp dimensions too, since all primary dimensions are set as global variables. The SCAD file will render either part by commenting or uncommenting variable defines; follow the instructions in the file for specific details.
