This is a highly advanced semi-automatic pistol that fires powerful Nerf Rivals rounds using the cutting-edge FTW flywheel system. Patreon support is greatly appreciated and can help fund future Nerf projects: https://www.patron.com/FreedomBlasters Hardware components include: - Standard Omron microswitch - Motors of choice, such as Honeybadgers or Fangs, offering superior performance and reliability - FTW, Nightowl, or Cabanossi flywheels (testing is pending for the latter) - Wiring and a battery plug of choice - M2.5x10 screws or their imperial equivalent, preferably countersunk - 8 Motor screws with extra screws provided for grip panels - A compression spring of 0.4x4mm in size - An extension spring for the trigger, also using 0.4x4mm springs - Two 3mm pins, one 30-60mm long and one 35 mm long Print settings: Parts are not oriented for printing and optimal results can be achieved with Cura slicer. Recommended print settings include: - Layer height: 0.24 or lower - Perimeters: 3 or more (no reason for more than 5) - Supports: Use tree supports, placing them everywhere if necessary - Print speed: 60mm/s works best but may vary depending on setup - Print duration on minimal settings and 100 mm/s: approximately 30 hours in total - Top/bottom layers: 5 or more, although fewer layers can be used - Infill percentage: 15% should suffice, but a lower percentage might work as well Assembly requires careful attention to detail: 1) Assemble the trigger and trigger link with a screw. 2) Slot them into place on the frame with a trigger lever. 3) Attach the tab protector to the trigger link. 4) Lock in the trigger lever with a 30-60mm pin, using the provided spacer. 5) Insert the mag release at the bottom of the frame with a spring. Slide in the 35mm pin and ensure proper operation before proceeding. 6) Wire up the cage and microswitch, ensuring all wires fit into the tab protector without issues. 7) Before installing the cage, attach the extension spring between the trigger link and the cage. 8) Insert and screw on the cage. 9) Attach the grip panels with motor screws. 10) Assemble the tip and slide together with screws. Slot in the rear sight. 11) Place the battery inside the front of the frame. Close up the blaster by attaching the top and securing it with pins. Then, insert the barrel and secure it by rotating it. 12) Enjoy your finished blaster!
