This piece is a double shell TPU glove designed for freezing it and cooling down any injury, using the refrigerant gel from something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Gel-Packs-Injuries-Pack-Rehabilitation/dp/B01LXM8W8T/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=gel+pack&qid=1631447787&sr=8-5

NOT PRINTED YET - Please, anyone that has already printed it, post a comment with your experience so I can improve it.

Side note: as it is imported from thingiverse, .mix files coulnd't be loaded. Please go to Frozen glove - an injury reliever by Night6488 if you need them.

It has a thickness of 5.5mm, so it should be printed with two 0.6 mm walls and 0% infill, to give a space of 3.1mm for the refrigerant with a 1.2mm wall per side. It goes from just before the wrist to half the first phalanx, giving you the oportunity to work with the fingers while wearing it.

It should work fine both with the freezer and the microwave, if the correct gel is used. Anyway, you shouldn't heat it more than 30 seconds. The desing is completely closed, so you have to pause the printer to fill it before it seals it.

It was designed for my mother, who has carpal tunnel syndrome, so she could wear it while working, for both cool and heat. She has a 56mm wrist and a 77mm width palm.

Print Settings

Resolution:

0.1 - 0.2 with 0.6 width line, instead of 0.4

Filament:

Sunlu TPU 80-90A (TPE should work as well)

Notes:

You need to print it with two bottom/top layers, two walls and 0% infill. Be sure that the line thickness is 0.6 for all and set the flow to 110% to avoid the gel to escape.

You need to pause the print 2-3 times to insert the refrigerant with a syringe, you can use Cura pause function for this.
