This device will accept a common plastic frosting bag, making it easy to use. The shaft applies pressure on the bag, dispensing frosting effortlessly. Although functional, improvements are still needed. Essential components such as metal tips and nozzles can be purchased at grocery or hobby stores. Except for the motor, other parts (including gears) were sourced from a miscellaneous bin of spare items; replacement gears should be easily obtainable. The treads on the plywood are laser-etched, while the squeezer mechanism is an innovation. The frame design is derived from Will's creation. Gear specifications include 26 teeth, 22mm diameter, and a 1/4" bore, with 1/2" nylon bushings (flanged), 1/4" inside diameter. The shaft measures 1/4", complete with collars and couplers; however, the length is yet to be cut. Fastening requires M6 threaded rods and nuts. Notably, the motor utilized is identical to that in a MakerBot extruder.
