Initially, the central gap measures 15 inches due to the car's frame but can be modified based on actual measurements post-shell and nosecone addition. Each center mounting panel has three holes for attachment to the shell. The clearance between these panels and the central airfoil is minimal, allowing for trimming if necessary. Excess material at the bottom of the center, left, and right mounting panels can also be trimmed, although they primarily dictate dimensions. All fasteners are Mil.
