This is a critical front wheel and gear support system for an RC Jet with retractable air-operated landing gear up front. Designed to replace or upgrade the existing wheel assembly, it can be easily trimmed to seamlessly blend in with the jet's sleek airframe. The sturdy wheel support tube allows clearance for steering servo wires to the landing gear strut, providing a stable and responsive flying experience. Printed using a .0425" thick material, this part is produced from four standard widths of an FDM extruder. Although it stands alone well during printing with some post-processing, care should be taken not to obstruct airflow. The main wheel tub measures 2.625" tall by 3.45" long and 1.8" wide, featuring a trimmable 7/8" lip around the base for secure fitment. Its supporting gear tube is 4" long and .75" in width. A print time of about two hours should result in a strong and functional part that's perfect for an RC Jet landing system upgrade or replacement.
