Front Wheel Riser Block

Front Wheel Riser Block

Between the rain-soaked streets and stay-at-home orders, I've been spending a lot more time pedaling away indoors. My trusty trainer is a wheel-on type (Saris), which expertly lifts the rear wheel off the ground, giving my bike an eerie feel of perpetual descent. The incline may seem insignificant at first, but trust me, it's enough to make all the difference in rider comfort. You can always opt for a wheel-riser, but I'm the type who'd rather craft something with my own hands than shell out cash. So, I set out to build one from scratch. It should accommodate tires up to 1 1/4 inches (32c) diameter, though please keep in mind that I've only put it to the test with 1-inch (25c) and 1 1/8-inch (28c) tires.
