Front suspension mount for Tamiya Lunchbox

Front suspension mount for Tamiya Lunchbox

thingiverse

The front suspension of a Tamiya Lunchbox screws directly into an injection-molded ABS plastic part with a metal cuff and bolt, securing it to the end of the wishbone. However, this setup is prone to failure due to stripped threads in the plastic connector. A more robust design replaces this connection with an M3 nyloc nut positioned within a central recess in 3D-printed parts. When printed using Taulman3D Nylon Bridge, these modified parts exhibit impressive strength and durability, consistently surviving high-impact crashes even when used in off-road buggies.
