This is an expansion-based plug that fits snugly into the bottom of your 1-1/8 inch straight steerer, not tapered - I don't own a tapered steerer fork so I'm unable to verify the dimensions. It offers a cable guide, not a stop, allowing you to route shift cable housing smoothly from the handlebar remote to the lockout switch. I'll be uploading a separate post for the switch/cap & crown-mounted cable stop in due course. May 17th: At this stage, I'm unsure if it works - print at your own risk. I intend to test it soon to determine whether it fits properly.
