Front License Plate Bracket with Extension (No Drill) tow hook
thingiverse
This simple design lets you install a Front license plate on your vehicle using the tow hook thread found on the front of your bumper.\r\n\r\nTo do this, just screw a bolt onto the inside (with its thread facing forward) and find a nut that screws and fits. For my Jetta, I used a cheap eBay tow hook and unscrewed the other end, ending up with a bolt that has two threaded sides.\r\n\r\nThe Bracket was designed to work with USA-MEXICO plate size. I'm not sure if it will fit plates from other countries.\r\n\r\nYou can choose either of both designs for the spacer; they both fit the same nuts, but differ in size and design. One side fits the tow hook bolt, while the other is meant for the spacer.\r\n\r\nFor the bolts and nuts that go through the plate bracket:\r\n\r\n•Machine Bolt 3/8'' x 1-1/2 (you can also use 5/8 in length)\r\n•Hex Nut 3/8 with 9 mm thickness\r\n\r\nFor the bolts and nuts that go through the bumper (tow hook):\r\n\r\n•Bolt Thread Size: 5/8-8 RH Thread / M15.8xP3.175\r\n•Hex Nut-Class 8-Thread Size: M12 with 10 mm thickness
