Front Fork Mount and Arm for Slacker Digital Sag Scale
thingiverse
If you've ever used the Slacker Digital Sag Scale from motool.co, you know it works exceptionally well. However, measuring front fork sag on a KTM dirt bike poses a challenge because there isn't sufficient steel near the front axle for the magnetic mount to stick properly. We created the Front Fork Mount and Arm for the Slacker Digital Sag Scale to make using the Slacker easier when measuring front fork sag on KTM dirt bikes. (1) Position the mount over the bottom brake caliper bolt head. (2) Secure the mount in place with a cable tie. Route the cable tie through the two slots in the mount and then around the back of the caliper bracket. (3) Insert the Slacker into the mount, pushing it just far enough that it fits snugly and won't fall out. It is not intended to go all the way into the mount. (4) Mount the arm to the left fork and have it rest on top of the lower fork clamp. Secure the arm to the fork with a cable tie. (5) Connect the Slacker string to the arm by inserting the hook into the hole in the arm. (6) Rotate the arm around the fork and rotate the Slacker within the mount so that the string is parallel with the fork tubes. The string should be parallel with the fork tubes, as illustrated by the yellow lines in the image. (7) Follow the instructions provided with the Slacker to learn how to measure front fork sag.
