I designed a tight-fitting addition for my Xl5 frame that protects the front end from impacts which could otherwise damage the camera lens protruding from the front and safeguard the carbon fiber bottom plate. This will not prevent high-speed impacts with hard objects from causing damage, but it offers impressive impact resistance for rough landings, tree hits, limbs, etc. The item was designed to keep weight addition to a minimum while filling in the large gap in the front that tends to catch everything within reach. The latest update v2 increases the radius around the screw holes slightly, bringing the edge of the print to the outer edge of the bottom plate on the frame. This change is only a .5mm difference, so if you already have one printed, it's not necessary to bother with an upgrade.
