Frog middle and inner ear
thingiverse
Model of the middle and inner ear of a frog. Includes 1) eardrum (tympanum) and attached extrastapes, 2) the columella (aka stapes), and 3) the inner ear and operculum, and 4) tendons or ligaments that attached to the columella. Note that the tendon structures do not appear to be present in most frog ears to my knowledge as I have only seen them in one species so far. An .stl file showing the full model is included for assembly. This model was created by segmenting a diceCT scan in 3D Slicer and exporting the segment as a model. The scan can be found on Morphosource (Specimen ID: cas:herp:168823)
