Frisbee - Easy to print :)
thingiverse
Hi Y'all, This is a design I made to make our beloved frisbees more printable. There are other cool designs online but I always had problems to print them with TPU. This version is easy to print and has the same weight (around 160g) as a freestyle frisbee. You can buy me a coffee if you like the design :) -> #paypal.me/rubbl I also uploaded the Cura settings so you can start your print asap (I recommend the z offset plugin! See below) Here are some twerks and settings I used to get the most out of it: - I used a 1.00mm nozzle. (decreases printtime to ~7h) - layer height: 0.32mm - set z offset to 0.2mm -> requires plugin: https://marketplace.ultimaker.com/app/cura/plugins/fieldofview/ZOffsetPlugin - bed temperature: 0°C - nozzle temperature: 230°C - disable fan - initial layer flow: 130% - top/bottom pattern: concentric #for freestyle frisbees: infill: 5% (for ~155g) scale z-axis to 20mm #for ultimate frisbees: infill: 20% (for ~175g) scale z-axis to 20mm (for 175g) Note: the weight depends on density of your material. My TPU has a density of 1.18 [g/mm³] Check your materials density and update your material settings in the plugin shown above I wanted to add a cool logo but the bottom layers are too thin... Happy throwing ;)
