Frieze Panel with cut-out from a vine frieze
myminifactory
Displayed at the Museum für Abgüsse Klassischer Bildwerke in Munich, this museum showcases a vast collection of classical paintings and sculpture. It highlights exceptional works of art from ancient Greece and Rome, spanning the 7th century BC to the 5th century AD. The focus lies on Hellenistic masterpieces since Alexander the Great's time and Roman portrait art from late republic to late antiquity periods. While marble and bronze artifacts are scattered in museums worldwide, original plaster casts can be found in two enormous halls that flood with natural light, each measuring 18 meters high. This object is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory. Through this project, we're creating a free digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access. Scan The World is an open-source community effort.
