Fridge Oven Kickplate Clip
thingiverse
Lost one of the clips on the kickplate and was unable to get it properly seated. Why not print a replacement? Only took a few minutes in 'quick and dodgy' print mode! This is an alternative to Electrolux part no 0125008358. May suit AEG, Westinghouse, Chef, Simpson, Kelvinator, Dishlex freestanding fridges and ovens. If it looks like this, it's probably the right one! Please note that no guarantees are provided regarding the use of this part or its suitability in a particular application. Print Settings Printer Brand: Solidoodle Printer: Solidoodle 3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 30% recommended Notes: Two versions of STL file - one has modelled supports, the other doesn't. If you print the one without supports, you will need to arrange some for the unsupported features. If you use the one with supports, I recommend a raft or brim to help the supports stick to the bed - will be messy if they come adrift. Print plenty of walls, so the clip part is entirely made up of walls (1.0mm / 2x wall/shell setting minimum). Infill should be reasonably strong, it's a small part. Mine worked well at 30%. Post-Printing Cleanup: Cut off the support and any raft/brim and plug it in. Insert into the oven at 90 degrees, and twist until the locating spigot fits into the corresponding hole in the oven frame. The square tab and locating spigot should be at the top. The kickplate should be inserted by the top first, with holes fitting over the square tabs. Then the bottom is pressed over the bottom clips, and should click into place. How I Designed This Measurement of existing part, modelled in CAD software.
