I made this list holder to attach to our fridge using magnets. To set it up, just slide the cardboard notepad backing behind the plastic bar and snap your pen (a Pilot G2 works great) into its side - you'll be jotting down shopping lists and leaving notes for each other in no time. I reinforced the back with 1/2x1/8" neodymium magnets, pressing them in with a dab of CA glue to make sure they stay put.
